Locum Consultant in Cardiothoracic Anaesthesia

We are inviting applications for a locum Consultant in Cardiothoracic Anaesthesia to join the existing department providing specialist care for adult cardiothoracic surgery in the West of Scotland at Golden Jubilee University National Hospital.


Fixed term for a period of 1 year


Key Responsibilities

  • Provide specialist anaesthetic care for adult cardiothoracic surgery.
  • Participate in pre‑operative assessment, intra‑operative management, and post‑operative care.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver optimal patient outcomes.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Advanced training in cardiothoracic anaesthesia.
  • Full GMC registration and on the Specialist Register, or eligibility for admission within 6 months of interview date.
