We are looking for an enthusiastic, experienced physiotherapist to join the North Aberdeenshire Learning Disability Team, delivering person centred interventions to this specialist client group.


You will become a member of a well established community team which is based in North. This community based service engages with LD adults in a variety of settings – day centres, supportive living accommodation and individual homes. Interventions are implemented in the most appropriate and effective manner to maintain the functional skills and health of our clients.


This posts sits within the Aberdeenshire Health and Social Care Partnership but professionally you will be part of a pan Grampian group, benefitting from a supportive network of learning disability physiotherapists who are overseen professionally by a MH&LD Physio Lead. There are four other multidisciplinary LD teams across NHS Grampian and all include a wide variety of professionals including Speech and Language Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Community Learning Disability Nurses, Dietetics, Psychology, Psychiatry, and Social Workers/Care Managers.


We welcome applicants who have previous experience of working in multidisciplinary community teams and who have a holistic approach to care provision.

As from 1/4/26, the Agenda for Change full‑time working week will be reducing from 37 to 36 hours per week. Part time hours will be reduced pro‑rata. However, there will be a corresponding increase in the hourly rate so that pay will not be affected.
