Junior / Trainee Field Service Engineer (Mechanical)£35,000-£38,000 + Overtime OTE £50,000 + Life Insurance + 33 Days Holiday + FlexitimeAylesbury

Are you an aspiring Service Engineer from a mechanical background looking for full inhouse training on pumps and related equipment, and clear routes to progress to a fully-fledged engineer?

In this role you will cover a patch that is a 2-3-hour radius from Aylesbury, travelling to customer sites where you will service pumps and wastewater treatment plants. You will be responsible for ensuring their operation, efficiency and safety, with plenty of optional overtime available.

This company has been established for over 70 years and has excelled to the peak of the wastewater industry, supplying domestic properties and facilities with pump stations and anaerobic reactors, whilst also servicing and maintaining wastewater and sewage plants.

This role would a Junior / Trainee Service Engineer from a mechanical background, looking to begin their career in the engineering field, with full in-house training, within a company that will value your development.

The Role:

  • Servicing water pumps and ensuring they function optimally
  • Check and test the controls, meters and electrics of the pumps
  • Covering a local patch
  • Monday-Friday 8am-4pm, 40 hours per week, with plenty of optional overtime
