Job Summary

As an IT Technology Expert Endpoint Management Solutions and Browser (m/f/d) at Airbus Defence and Space , you will be responsible for the design, implementation, and support of Endpoint Management Solutions based on Microsoft Technologies (MECM), as well as the management and optimization of browser (Chrome / Edge) environments within our complex IT infrastructure.


Job Responsibilities Endpoint Management Solution (MECM):

Planning, design, implementation, and maintenance of Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Management (MECM) infrastructures. Managing client health and troubleshooting MECM-related and Windows client related issues. Creating and optimizing task sequences for operating system deployment (OSD). Developing and implementing automation scripts (e.g., PowerShell) to increase efficiency in the MECM environment. Creation of reports and dashboards to monitor the MECM environment and software deployments.


Job Responsibilities Browser Management:

Standardization, configuration, and rollout of web browsers (e.g., Chrome, Edge) in a corporate environment. Management of browser policies, security policies, and extensions. Analysis and resolution of browser-related problems and performance bottlenecks. Evaluation of new browser technologies and features.


Ensuring the compatibility and security of the browser landscape.


General Responsibilities

Advising and supporting internal stakeholders on technical issues related to MECM and browsers. Creation and maintenance of technical documentation. Collaboration with other IT teams to ensure smooth operations and project implementation. Contribution to the continuous improvement of processes and standards.


Education

Completed studies in computer science, business informatics, or a comparable technical qualification (e.g., IT specialist in system integration) with relevant professional experience.


Several years of practical experience in the administration and design of Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Management (MECM) solutions in large enterprise environments. Solid knowledge of packaging and software distribution. Experience in managing and configuring common web browsers (e.g., Chrome, Edge) in an enterprise environment. Sound knowledge of Windows client and server operating systems including Active Directory . Experience with scripting languages, especially PowerShell.


Skills

Analytical and conceptual skills for solving complex technical problems. Excellent communication and teamwork skills. High degree of initiative, responsibility, and willingness to learn. Very good written and spoken English. Microsoft certifications (e.g., MCSA, MCSE, MD-100, MD-101) are an advantage.
