Thanks to a combined wealth of knowledge and experience between our directors, Global have become industry experts in the design, installation, commissioning and maintenance of fire safety, fire suppression and security systems.

Due to continued growth and market development, we are now seeking to appoint an Installation Manager for the Mechanical Installs Team, to be based at our office at Canary Wharf. The role will however involve site visits to ensure projects are progressing as expected. A Company car will be provided.

Job Purpose: The role will involve organising the installation of fire suppression systems nationwide in sites such as schools, pubs and hotels. Responsibilities will include managing a small team of engineers and subcontractors.

Key Accountabilities
  • Provide exceptional customer service, managing and maintaining client relationships, including attending client meetings, and responding promptly to customer enquiries and concerns
  • Full ownership of allocated projects, ensuring all works, site activity, audits and paperwork is carried out to the relevant standards, manufacturer guidelines and company’s requirements
  • Monitoring of all engineers, subcontractors and staff used, inclusive of labour requirements, paperwork, invoices, site activity and productivity
  • Production of all reports, including weekly project status, invoicing and profit and loss reports for own projects
  • Provide technical assistance, support and guidance to engineers, subcontractors and department team members and communicate and coordinate with internal personnel
  • Administration duties of all ongoing and completed projects, including ordering of equipment and plant, with the assistance of the project administration team
About You
  • Demonstrable techical expertise with Kitchen Fire Suppresson systems/ Fire industry
  • Demonstrable experience in project management.
  • Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Solid organisational skills including attention to detail and multitasking skills.
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office
