Currently seeking a talented and experienced AV & IoT Installation Technician to join our team. The selected candidate will work closely with our Design & Development team in delivering our bespoke smart products/solutions to our customers.

As an AV & IoT Installation Technician you will be responsible for the installation of our bespoke products on customer sites.

Responsibilities

  • Working with assigned project managers and programmers in providing complete, fully functional integrated Smart Tech and AV systems
  • Install our bespoke new systems and technology.
  • Inspect and test material and machinery for safety
  • Ensure proper maintenance of onsite equipment
  • Be part of the installation, testing, and commissioning of smart systems and automation solutions and resolve onsite malfunctions
  • Provide technical support to customers and ensure timely resolution of issues
  • Support internal teams with documentation
  • Support with customer training
  • Support internal teams with site surveys and assessments when needed

  • Understanding of installing and commissioning assigned projects for the Advanced Visual Systems and Television Network
  • Hands-on experience in installing smart systems
  • An understanding of systems integration techniques (Integration via IP protocols, Serial, ZigBee, or IR)
  • Understand audio DSP units, basic IP network, HDbaseT Technology
  • Understanding of safety guidelines
  • Happy to travel to customer sites and occasionally come to the office when needed, e.g. pick up equipment/tools.
  • Full Clean, Valid UK Driving License
  • Right to Work in the UK

  • The position is field based position
  • Work-related travel expenses are paid by the company
