Installation Engineer (Fire & Security)

Package up to £50,000 with £2,500 sign on bonus**

Role Summary

We’re looking for experienced Fire and Security Installation Engineers to join our growing team in and around Gloucester. You'll be carrying out fire, security and CCTV installations across a range of commercial and housing projects. We are looking for somebody who can confidently fault find and commission works, and troubleshoot across our projects.

This is a road based role covering Gloucester and surrounding areas, supported by a team of internal Project Managers. You'll be part of a respected, well organised team that values professionalism and getting the job done right first time and offers opportunities for you to develop your skills.

  Key Responsibilities
  
  Completing full project installations on fire, door access, door entry and CCTV systems
  
  Performing on site testing and commissioning of installed equipment to ensure full functionality
  
  Diagnosing and rectifying faults on reactive callouts as and when required
  
  Attending call outs and providing timely support to customers
  
  Demonstrating outstanding communication skills for both internal and external customers
  
  Providing technical support and completing accurate site documentation in a timely manner
  
  Ensuring all work complies with company policy, regulations, and health and safety
  
  Representing Severnside as our frontline contact, delivering excellent customer service
  
  Working collaboratively with the both the Project and Service teams
  
  Role requirements:
  
  
• Fire & Security Engineer: 2 years (essential)
  
  
• Experience working with fire, door entry, access control and CCTV systems (essential)
  
  
• Industry recognised security or fire systems qualifications (essential)
  
  
• A valid UK driving licence (essential)
  
  
• The legal right to work in the UK (essential)
  
  
• Enhanced DBS clearance (or willingness to obtain) (essential)
  
  
• 18th Edition or similar electrical qualification (desirable)
  
  
• Understanding of IP, networking and IoT devices (desirable)
