Job Details:
Pay: Up to £50,000 per annum
Hours of Work: Monday - Friday, 8:30am - 5pm
Duration: Permanent

Job Role:

As a HVAC Mechanical Estimator, you will be responsible for preparing accurate and competitive cost estimates for HVAC projects. You will review project plans, specifications, and other documentation to develop detailed costings for HVAC and mechanical systems. The role requires collaboration with design teams to optimise system performance and cost-efficiency, analysing supplier and subcontractor quotes, and presenting bid packages. This HVAC Mechanical Estimator position also involves liaising with engineers and project managers to ensure all estimates align with project goals and timelines, while staying current with market trends and pricing.
Essential Skills, Experience, or Qualifications:
Strong understanding of HVAC systems
HND / HNC or Bachelor's degree in HVAC mechanical services or a related field preferred
Advantageous Skills, Experience, or Qualifications
Proficiency in estimating software and spreadsheets
Familiarity with HVAC design software
Strong knowledge of mechanical codes, standards, and regulations
Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and technical documents
