We are looking for drivers with their own transport for our client, a Home Care Provider as they are looking for a Homecare Care Assistant to join their team on a full time or part time basis based in Bournemouth and surrounding areas.

YOU MUST BE A DRIVER WITH YOUR OWN TRANSPORT FOR THIS ROLE AS YOU WILL BE TRAVELLING TO DIFFERENT CUSTOMERS HOUSES

As a Homecare Care Assistant you will support people in the social care sector in the comfort of their own homes.

Working hours are 7am-2pm and 4pm-10pm (whichever works for you) and you must be able to work every other weekend.

You will be supporting customers in their homes in and around Bournemouth and surrounding areas with:

  • Personal Care
  • Medication
  • Companionship
  • Meal preparation
  • Mobility
  • Household tasks

Due to supporting people in their own homes access to your own transport is essential as you will be travelling to different customers on a daily basis.

You do not need any experience working in the social care sector as full training will be given. But what you will need is compassion and empathy and the ability to communicate to customers in a friendly manner and hear all about their stories AND A CAR!!!!

You will be paid a starting rate of £12.82 per hour but that can quickly increase once qualifications and training has been completed. The client is also paying generous mileage at 45p per mile and they ensure that all visits are in close proximity (meaning you aren't in the car all the time!)
