Responsibilities
  • To be an integral part of the team to support all aspects of the care role.
  • Provide support with mobility and help service users move around.
  • Assist service users with personal care (undressing, bathing, dressing, toileting, pad changes).
  • Assist service users with their meals.
  • Interact with service users in a compassionate and empathetic manner.
  • Ensure the comfort and safety of the service users, including maintaining a clean and organised environment.
  • Use any mechanical and non‑mechanical aids to help the residents when moving.
  • Maintain confidentiality.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of service users' activities; update notes accordingly in care plans.
Qualifications
  • Must be hard working and honest.
  • Must have a valid care training certificate.
  • Must have a full, valid driving licence (access to a personal vehicle will be an added advantage).
  • Must have a minimum of 6 months experience in a care setting.
  • Must hold a current and valid enhanced DBS.
  • Must be willing to get paid as a contractor under an umbrella company.
  • Must have experience in customer service.

07.00 AM – 07.00 PM – Day Calls
07.00 PM – 07.00 AM – Night Calls
10.00 PM – 08.00 AM – Waking Nights
