HGV Technician / Trailer Technician

Location: Scunthorpe
Rate: £18.75ph
Contract: Permanent
Work Schedule: 06:00 - 14:30 / 10:00 - 18:30 plus 1 in 3 Saturday's 06:00-14:30

We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced HGV/Trailer Technician to join the team in a busy fleet maintenance environment. This is an excellent opportunity to work with a reputable company where you'll be responsible for maintaining and servicing a wide range of fleet vehicles—primarily trailers/tankers, with some truck work involved.

    Your Role as a HGV Technician:

  • Service, maintain, and repair trailers/tankers and HGVs to VOSA standards.

  • Diagnose faults and carry out defect rectifications.

  • Prepare vehicles for MOT inspections to ensure compliance.

  • Keep the workshop organised and well-maintained for efficiency.

    What We’re Looking For:

  • Experienced HGV / Trailer Technician with strong mechanical knowledge.

  • Health & safety-conscious with attention to detail.

  • NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in a relevant field preferred – time-served experience will be considered.
