HGV Mechanic

to join our well-established client based in

Nuneaton, Warwickshire

on a full-time

permanent

basis.

This is a fantastic opportunity offering an excellent annual salary, long-term stability, and genuine opportunities for progression within a supportive workshop environment.
This is a hands-on workshop-based role working on a well-maintained company fleet —

no roadside breakdowns and no dealership pressure targets . Ideal for a mechanic looking for a steady, long-term position with realistic workloads.

Monday to Friday



07:30 – 17:00

£46,800 per annum

Day-to-Day Duties
As an

HGV Mechanic , your duties will include (but are not limited to):


Servicing, maintaining, and repairing HGV and LGV vehicles



Preparing vehicles for MOT and annual testing



Diagnosing mechanical faults and carrying out repairs



Completing vehicle inspections and safety checks



Recording defects and completing workshop documentation



Ensuring vehicles meet Operator Licence requirements
Essential Skills
To be successful as an

HGV Mechanic , you will need:


Previous experience working on HGVs or heavy vehicles



Strong fault-finding and mechanical repair skills



Knowledge of inspections and vehicle safety standards



Reliable, organised, and methodical approach to work
Training Provided


Industry-related training and ongoing development support throughout your employment
