In this role, the successful HGV mechanic would be responsible for maintain and repair our fleet of heavy goods vehicles within the Cookstown depot. Ensuring that the vehicles remain safe, reliable and compliant, keeping the operations moving efficiently.
The ideal HGV mechanic would have experience in a similar role and/or the knowledge and skills to step into an HGV role.
The Role:
Carry out routine maintenance and repairs on an extensive fleet of heavy vehicles including., low loaders, HIAB crane's, tractor units & rigid trucks.
Diagnose faults using company diagnostic software, carry out necessary repairs, and liaise with the Stores department to source the correct parts.
Deliver a high level of customer service at all times.
The Person:
HGV mechanic or similar.
Level 3 qualified/time served.
Local to Cookstown.
