HGV Mechanic / Plant Mechanic Heathrow Airport
Salary: £46,730 £51,047 + Overtime + Excellent Benefits
Schedule: 4 days on / 4 days off
Contract: Full-time, Permanent
Join the airside maintenance team at Heathrow Airport and play a vital role in keeping one of the worlds busiest airports running smoothly! Were currently recruiting for three experienced HGV / Plant Mechanics to support our operations.
What Youll Be Doing
Service, maintain, and repair a wide range of Ground Service Equipment (GSE) including aircraft tugs, towing tractors, and baggage elevators.
Diagnose faults and carry out both mechanical and electrical repairs.
Conduct planned and preventative maintenance (PPM).
Complete accurate paperwork and liaise effectively with internal teams.
Work safely and in compliance with all health and safety regulations.

11:30 AM 11:30 PM paying £51,047.50
06:30 AM 06:30 PM paying £50,547
06:00 AM 06:00 PM paying £46,730
Overtime paid at time and a half.
HGV Mechanic / Plant Mechanic About You
Qualified HGV Mechanic / Technician, or strong background in light vehicle or GSE maintenance.
Prior GSE experience desirable but not essential.
Eligible for an airside pass (must provide 5 years of checkable work history).
Able to pass a basic criminal record check.
A safety-conscious, proactive team player with strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
