We are looking for an enthusiastic HGV Mechanic to join our hard-working, highly successful team. Providing excellent frontline services across Gloucestershire, Ubico Ltd is a rapidly expanding, local-authority-owned company.

Reporting to the Fleet Workshop & Maintenance Manager, you will carry out inspections, servicing, repairs and maintenance of HGVs and light vehicles, plant and equipment to the required standards, in line with compliance and Health & Safety regulations and procedures.

You will need…

City & Guilds Craft Certificate in Motor Vehicle Mechanics or equivalent

Experience in vehicle inspections, servicing and repair of motor vehicles; working on a mixed fleet would be a distinct advantage

Good communication skills, excellent attention to detail and a flexible approach to work

A full, valid driving licence

To live within a 15-mile radius of GL7

Desirable but not essential (training can be provided): HGV Category C licence
