Diesel Machinery, Inc. (DMI) is seeking an experienced Shop or Field Heavy Equipment Technician to join our team in Aberdeen, SD. This is a great opportunity to work for a well-established heavy equipment organization in the area. Diesel Machinery, Inc. (DMI) is a full-service heavy equipment distributor representing leading brands such as Komatsu, JCB, Takeuchi, Bomag, Dynapac, and Grove. We serve markets in South Dakota, Southwest Minnesota, Northwest Iowa, and parts of Northern Nebraska and Wyoming. Our strength comes from our dedicated employees, who make the difference.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain, repair, and rebuild DMI and customer equipment
  • Knowledge of equipment from all DMI carrier brands
  • Document service calls
  • Complete time cards as necessary
  • Keep shop and field areas clean
  • Create an environment of efficiency and enjoyment

Ideal Candidate:

Experience working on heavy construction equipment is preferred. Field experience and Votec training are a plus.
