Looking for a Mechanical Graduate with exposure on HVAC Systems, Plumbing and Piping, Firefighting Systems and a little on site experience (if possible).

Role Overview

The Graduate Engineer will work closely with the Project Manager and Contract Manager, as well as key clients, to support the full lifecycle of engineering projects — from initial planning through to delivery and handover.


This role provides excellent exposure to project delivery, health & safety management, procurement processes, and client interaction.


Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain high standards of Health & Safety through supervision, inspections and monitoring
  • Conduct site inspections and prepare risk assessments and method statements (RAMS)
  • Liaise with procurement teams to source materials, parts and subcontract labour
  • Support the Project Manager in the coordination and delivery of project work
  • Obtain permits to work as required for project activities
  • Prepare project handover documentation and reports for clients
  • Deliver toolbox talks and safety briefings
  • Provide support across the wider department to assist with business growth

Requirements

  • Some exposure to on‑site engineering projects (water industry experience desirable but not essential)
  • Engineering qualification - HND minimum (Mechanical preferred)
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to motivate and work collaboratively with colleagues
  • Full UK driving licence (preferred)
  • Right to work in the UK on a permanent basis
