As our workload continues to grow, we’re looking for a skilled Full or Part‑Time Horticultural / Groundcare Machinery Mechanic to join our team and help keep our customers’ machinery performing at its best.


About the Role

You’ll be responsible for the maintenance, servicing, and repair of a wide range of groundcare and horticultural machinery, including:



  • Commercial groundcare machinery
  • Ride‑on mowers
  • Compact tractors
  • Pedestrian lawnmowers
  • Strimmers, hedge cutters, and handheld equipment

This is a hands‑on role where no two days look the same. You’ll diagnose faults, carry out repairs, complete routine servicing, and ensure all equipment is safe, reliable, and ready for work.


Key Responsibilities

  • Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues
  • Carry out servicing, repairs, and preventative maintenance


  • Prepare machinery for sale or hire
  • Maintain accurate service records
  • Provide on‑site repairs for customers

What We’re Looking For

  • Experience as a groundcare, agricultural, plant, or small‑engine mechanic
  • Strong diagnostic and problem‑solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • A positive attitude and pride in high‑quality workmanship
  • Full UK driving licence (preferred but not essential as this is a workshop based role)
