Overview

We are recruiting for the Permanent Position of a: Electrical/Mechanical Field Engineer. Our client are an International based company who manufacture and Install bespoke automated cutting edge machines into Manufacturing facilities across the UK, Europe and around the World.

Salary and benefits: Basic Salary from £44,000 to £45,000, plus overtime pay, plus company car, plus pension, plus 25 days plus 8 bank holidays plus private health benefits package, plus pension.

Responsibilities
  • Read planned machine drawings and participate in machine installations and servicing.
  • Fault finding and servicing of complex automated machinery.
  • Work alone or as part of a team on new machine installations.
  • Complete technical reports and documentation for customers.
  • Travel and stay away from home for services, new machine installations or training on new machines.
Qualifications and Requirements
  • Electrical biased with some mechanical experience.
  • HND or HNC qualified.
  • Work split 70% Electrical / 30% Mechanical.
  • Apprentice trained.
  • Experience reading planned machine drawings.
  • Experience with PLCs and machine automation control systems.
  • Proven experience with fault finding, servicing and machine installation skills.
  • Confident working with complex automated machinery and with customers.
  • Able to travel and work away from home; hold a Full UK Driving License.
