Job Overview
Are you passionate about making AI run right at the Edge? Do you want to help drive the transition of AI from the data center to Edge and IoT devices? We're looking for an enthusiastic ML developer to build applications and models to be used on the next generation of Edge AI devices. You'll work as part of a broad team to help take next-generation AI technology out of the lab and into the hands of real developers!

The IoT Line of Business is rapidly moving inference from being a cloud centric compute, to a distributed local computing experience with all the benefits of reduced latency, privacy and cost this change will deliver.
Responsibilities
- Work with external customers and partners to understand their ML workloads and requirements
- Train models and build applications to run on Arm's next generation of Edge AI devices
- Contribute to the definition of software, middleware and tools to for ML developers and Edge AI
- Work with our Developer Community teams to help engineers and ML specialists unlock the potential of their Arm-based devices
- Work with our software engineering teams to build and deliver our experience kits
Required Skills and Experience
- Strong ML/AI skills and an experience fine-tuning AI workloads to run well on Edge devices
- An understanding of the needs of developers working with AI at the Edge
- Good familiarity in one of the popular ML frameworks such as PyTorch/ExecuTorch, TensorFlow, JAX, ONNX PaddlePaddle
- Experience working in the IoT or Embedded devices, including microcontrollers
- A curious mind and an interest in continuous learning
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
Nice to Have Skills and Experience
- An understanding of the latest trends in AI/ML research and development
- Solid development skills low-level programming languages like C, C++ or Rust
- A background in a delivering a Linux software distribution or in platform software development
- A history of developer engagement or participation in an active open-source development community
- Experience of Product Owner roles, or a desire to growing into more commercial and product focused roles
