Electronics Design Engineer – IoT Devices (Contract, Inside IR35)
 
We are working with an industry leader specialising in the development of monitoring and tracking devices for sectors such as fuel, fertilizer, and asset management. They are currently seeking a Contract Electronics Design Engineer to support their Engineering team based in Hastings, East Sussex.
 
About the Role:
 
You will be responsible for the design and implementation of electronic systems for innovative Remote IoT Monitoring Solutions used for fluid level management across a range of industries. This is a hands-on design role focused on electronic development for next-generation IoT products.
 
Key Responsibilities:

Develop and implement electronic designs for new IoT devices.
Work on PCB design and embedded systems development.
Collaborate with the wider engineering and manufacturing teams to deliver robust solutions.
Support prototype development, testing, and production processes.  
What We're Looking For:

Strong background in Electronics/Electrical Engineering.
Proven experience with PCB design and embedded systems.
Preferably experience with Microchip PIC microcontrollers.
Previous exposure to an Electronic Manufacturing environment is desirable.  
Contract Details:

Rate: £50 - £60 per hour PAYE Umbrella (Inside IR35).
Duration: Initial 3-month term with potential for extension.
Location: Office-based in Hastings, with occasional hybrid working where possible.  
This is a great opportunity for a contractor to contribute to the development of cutting-edge IoT solutions in a highly specialised environment
