Inizio Engage is seeking a qualified NMC-registered nurse tojoin our team as a Homecare Nurse (Clinical Nurse Advisor).

Overview

Due to the continued expansion of our outpatient nutritionservice, we are recruitingClinical Nurse Advisersto join ourgrowing homecare nursing team. This role involves supporting patientsreceivingTotal Parenteral Nutrition (TPN)in the community.

This is afield-based positionprovidingdirect care to patients in their own homes. You will play a key role insupporting safe discharge from hospital and helping patients manage theircomplex therapy at home.

We welcome applicants who are already working in communitysettings, as well as nurses looking to transition from a hospital-based roleinto the community.

Main duties of the job

  • Delivering care via home visits and virtual support
  • Educating and supporting patients, families, and carers
  • Conducting clinical audits and contributing to quality improvement
  • Liaising with hospital and community-based healthcare teams
  • Managing TPN-related equipment and supplies

Maintaining CPD and ensuring full clinical compliance

Job responsibilities

  • Deliver safe, effective nursing care in accordance with clinical protocols, service standards, and professional guidelines
  • Provide patient-centred education and training to individuals, families, and carers on managing Total Parenteral Nutrition (TPN) and associated therapies
  • Establish and maintain effective clinical relationships with hospital and community healthcare professionals to support integrated care
  • Monitor, document, and escalate clinical incidents or adverse events in line with governance and reporting procedures
  • Ensure ongoing compliance with infection control, clinical policies, and the safe use and maintenance of medical equipment

Person SpecificationExperience

  • NMC registration (Adult or Childrens Nurse)
  • Minimum 1 year of post-registration experience
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Comfortable using IT systems and Android devices
  • Experience with CVAD or parenteral nutrition
  • Knowledge of outpatient antibiotic therapy or iron management
