Main Duties of the Job

  1. Support physiotherapists in delivering tailored treatment programmes.
  2. Work directly with children with a range of physical needs – helping them build strength, independence, and confidence.
  3. Travel to different community settings including homes, schools, and clinics.
  4. Help manage and clean physiotherapy equipment and keep accurate digital records.
  5. Take responsibility for your own delegated tasks and contribute to high-quality care.
  6. Be a valued member of a friendly, experienced team who truly care about your growth and development.

Essential Qualifications



  • Evidence of achievement at GCSE pass levels or equivalent

Desirable Qualifications



  • Child Care or Health & Social Care qualification

  • Current UK valid driving licence
  • Access to a car

Essential Skills/Experience



  • Ability to communicate with children and adolescents with impaired communication abilities
  • Effective organisational skills
  • Able to work as part of a team
  • Previous experience of working with children and young people

Desirable Skills/Experience



  • Awareness of basic paediatric conditions (e.g., cerebral palsy)
  • Ability to demonstrate empathy and motivate patients with impaired cognitive abilities or physical senses
  • Experience of working with children or adults with physical disabilities
