CAT A Licensed Mechanic – UK Wide

Join AES (Aircraft Engineering Services Ltd), UK Engineering Delivery Partner for Ryanair, as a CAT A Licensed Mechanic based across all our UK bases. You'll work on Ryanair's 737‑800 and 737‑8200 fleets with 4N4O rotations, supporting a dynamic, fast‑moving environment.


Duties

  • Routine servicing and defect rectification of Ryanair’s 737‑800 and 737‑8200 fleet.
  • Aircraft on Ground (AOG) recovery.
  • Maintaining a safe and compliant working environment, adhering to all company procedures, policies and regulations.
  • Mentoring Aircraft Mechanics and Apprentices.

Requirements

All applicants must have unrestricted right to work and travel in the UK and hold a Full UK Driving Licence.



  • Aircraft Line or Base Maintenance experience (Essential).
  • EASA or UK CAA Part‑66 Cat A Licence holder (Essential). UK CAA Licences accepted with 3 years maintenance experience and completion of EASA Module 9 (Human Factors) & Module 10 (Aviation Legislation).
  • Excellent communication skills, verbal and written (Essential).
  • Good IT literacy (Essential), with AMOS experience (Desirable).
  • Mechanics holding all Pt 66 Cat A/B1 modules and working towards submitting their Licence Application (Essential).
