Bank hours An exciting and challenging opportunity has arisen for highly motivated Bank Physiotherapists to join our busy Department at Blakelands Hospital in Milton Keynes.

Job Description
The Bank Physiotherapist role is based at Blakelands Hospital, Milton Keynes. Bank hours (zero hours contract) to cover weekday and weekend shifts (inpatients or outpatients). The workload for the inpatient team includes managing an orthopaedic day-surgery caseload and an outpatient service for post-operative rehabilitation and MSK assessment and treatment. The service runs over 6 days from Monday to Saturday.

The Role
The purpose of this role is to provide the highest quality of physiotherapy services to patients and visitors at Blakelands Hospital. To be responsible for outpatient and day-case physiotherapy services as required and to liaise closely with all other members of the multi-disciplinary team.

What you will bring
  • Degree or equivalent in Physiotherapy
  • HCPC registration
  • Membership of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy (preferred but not essential)
  • Experience in orthopaedics/MSK
  • Ability to demonstrate good clinical reasoning processes
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to organise and prioritise
  • Good understanding of CSP Standards of Physiotherapy Practice and Rules of Professional Conduct
