What you will do

  • Provide specialised physiotherapy treatment for children with burn injuries to facilitate recovery and rehabilitation.
  • Develop, implement, and evaluate individualised care plans in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team.
  • Educate patients and their families on ongoing care, injury prevention, and rehabilitation techniques.
  • Monitor patient progress, documenting and adjusting treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.
  • Participate in team meetings, contributing to discussions on best practices and improvements in paediatric burn care.

Requirements

  • HCPC Registered: Must be registered with the Health and Care Professions Council to practice in the UK.
  • Experience: Prior experience in burn care and paediatric physiotherapy will set you up for success.
  • Driving: Possession of a valid driver’s licence is required to travel between sites and provide home visits when necessary.
