Working hours: Monday – Friday 08:00am-16:00pm, (37,5hrs per week)

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Band 6 Neuro Physiotherapist to join our team at Barts NHS Trust in London. This role offers an excellent opportunity to provide specialized neurorehabilitation services to patients with complex needs. The successful candidate will be responsible for assessing, planning, and implementing individualized treatment plans to support patient recovery and improve their quality of life. This position requires strong clinical skills, the ability to work independently, and a commitment to patient-centered care.

What will your responsibilities be:

As a Band 6 Neuro Physiotherapist, the role involves conducting comprehensive assessments of patients with neurological conditions, developing and implementing individualized treatment plans, and monitoring patient progress. Providing hands-on therapy, exercise prescription, and education to support patient recovery is essential. Duties include maintaining accurate patient records, collaborating with other healthcare professionals, and contributing to the continuous improvement of physiotherapy services. Efficient caseload management and providing support to junior staff as needed are also expected.

Qualifications and Experiences:

  • NHS experience
  • Neuro rehab experience
  • SCI rehabilitation skills
  • Experience working with behaviorally challenging patients or patients in persisting disorders of consciousness with/without tracheostomy
  • Knowledge of the NHSE rehab pathways
  • Degree in Physiotherapy
  • Registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC)
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in neuro physiotherapy
  • Strong clinical assessment and treatment skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Commitment to continuous professional development
