Opening Paragraph:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Band 6 Locum Physiotherapist specializing in paediatrics to join our team at Watford General Hospital. This role is crucial in providing high‑quality physiotherapy care to paediatric patients within an acute NHS setting. The position requires immediate availability and will be subject to ongoing reviews.


Responsibilities:
As a Band 6 Locum Physiotherapist - Paediatrics you will be responsible for assessing, planning, and implementing physiotherapy treatment programmes for paediatric patients, both in inpatient settings. You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team to provide individualised therapy sessions, monitor patient progress, and adjust treatment plans as necessary. Additionally, you will educate and support patients and their families, ensuring they are well-informed and involved in the therapeutic process. Your expertise will contribute significantly to the overall well‑being and recovery of our young patients.


Qualifications and Experiences:



  • Degree in Physiotherapy
  • Registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC)
  • Acute NHS experience
  • Experience in paediatrics, particularly in inpatient settings
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
