Band 6 Community Physiotherapist - Locum Organisation: East London Location: Mile End Hospital Band: 6 - £27 per hour Contract Type: Locum Hours: Full Time Start Date: ASAP Duration: 3 months (initial) Role Overview The post holder will work as an experienced Band 6 Community Physiotherapist, contributing to the development and delivery of integrated community healthcare services within a Multi-Disciplinary Team (MDT) setting. The role involves providing high-quality physiotherapy assessment and intervention to adults across a range of community pathways, supporting admission avoidance, rehabilitation, and long-term condition management. Key Responsibilities Deliver advanced physiotherapy assessments and evidence-based treatment programmes Manage a varied community caseload including: Frailty Rapid Response / Admission Avoidance Intermediate Care Falls Prevention Long-term condition management and self-management support Provide individual and group-based physiotherapy interventions and education Prescribe and issue appropriate equipment and assistive devices (e.g. orthotics) Work collaboratively within MDTs and liaise with external services and partner agencies Maintain accurate clinical documentation in line with Trust policies and professional standards Essential Requirements HCPC registration as a Physiotherapist Significant post-qualification experience at Band 6 level (or equivalent) Proven experience working in community or intermediate ca...
