STS Aviation Services are rapidly growing and we are looking for three experienced Contractor B1 Aircraft Mechanics to be part of our journey as the leading UK MRO. If you want to be part of the next chapter of our journey playing a key role at our Newquay Hangar then we’d love to hear from you.

Applicants MUST either be Citizens of the United Kingdom, or must currently have a valid work Authorization for working in the UK, with at least 2 years remaining until its Expiration Date.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

  • Maintenance, repair and overhaul of customer’s aircraft to include all forms of scheduled and unscheduled maintenance.
  • Follow both STS and Customer specific interface processes, recording of all maintenance activity performed and ensuring all man-hour bookings are accurate and timely.
  • Executing the highest levels of maintenance standards and ensuring the aircraft maintenance activity is performed in a timely and efficient manner to customer’s full satisfaction.
  • Maintain the highest standard of safety and cleanliness, complying with all company procedures and policies.
  • Fully comply with the minimum requirements for Health & Safety in the workplace and COSHH regulations.

Skills And Abilities

  • Demonstrate a minimum of 5 years aircraft experience performing repairs, overhaul and maintenance on large commercial aircraft.
  • Applicants must have the current authorisation to work in the UK, for any employer.
  • All applicants must have a valid DBS or the ability to obtain one.
  • Previous live aircraft mechanical experience.
  • Good knowledge of aircraft systems.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Organisational skills.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Knowledge of MS Office applications.
