Role Summary
Due to ongoing strategic initiatives and expansion into cloud-first architectures, our Client is seeking an experienced Azure Architect to play a pivotal role in advancing their cloud infrastructure. This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled professional to contribute to high-profile projects, shape cloud strategies, and ensure optimal deployment of Azure services. The role is essential in supporting our Client's digital evolution and maintaining their competitive edge in the industry.
Responsibilities

Lead the design and implementation of enterprise-level Azure cloud solutions that meet business requirements and technical standards.
Develop comprehensive cloud architecture strategies, ensuring scalability, security, and cost-effectiveness.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business needs into robust cloud solutions.
Provide hands-on guidance during the deployment of Azure services, including compute, storage, networking, and security components.
Establish best practices for cloud security, compliance, and governance.
Monitor cloud environments for performance, optimise configurations, and troubleshoot complex technical issues.
Document architecture frameworks, standards, and operational procedures for ongoing maintenance and scalability.
Essential Skills & Experience

Proven experience as an Azure Solutions Architect or cloud architect with a strong understanding of Azure cloud platform services.
Advanced knowledge of Azure architecture design principles, security, and compliance standards.
Hands-on experience with deployment, configuration, and management of Azure resources.
Familiarity with IaC tools such as ARM templates, Terraform, or similar.
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly.
Relevant certifications, such as Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert, are highly desirable.
Desirable Skills & Experience

Experience with hybrid cloud environments and integration with on-premises infrastructure.
Knowledge of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines within Azure.
Prior involvement in large-scale cloud migration projects.
Strong understanding of cloud cost optimisation strategies.
