STS Aviation Services are rapidly growing and we are looking for six experienced Sheet Metal Mechanicsto be part of our journey as the leading UK MRO. If you want to be part of the next chapter of our journey playing a key role at our ManchesterHangar then we’d love to hear from you.

Responsibilities:

All aspects of major structural repair and modifications to include but not limited to:

  • Removal of major aircraft structural sections, whilst stress jacked.
  • Working to fine tolerances and high standards.
  • Upholding high standards of housekeeping.
  • Adhering to company and manufacturers procedures.
  • Implementing modifications from drawings and procedures.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Completed aircraft engineering apprenticeship, production or Live aircraft.
  • Ideally 5 years live aircraft and structures experience.
  • Demonstratable experience in aircraft modification/production environment
  • Experience of implementing and carrying out aircraft component modifications.
  • Experienced and capable of reading manufacturers drawings and SRMs.
  • Excellent hand skills
  • Takes full ownership and responsibility for own tasks.
  • Good organisational skills.
  • Knowledge of MS Office applications.
  • Eligible to work in the UK.
