This will include contributing to rehabilitation planning, goal setting, and discharge processes, in collaboration with senior physiotherapists and the wider multidisciplinary team.
You will apply developing clinical reasoning and evidence‑based practice to deliver patient‑centred care, escalating complex cases appropriately and responding to clinical feedback to support ongoing learning and improvement.
The postholder will engage in a structured preceptorship programme, supported by regular clinical supervision, competency development, and in‑service training. You will take responsibility for identifying learning needs, reflecting on practice, and demonstrating progression towards autonomous working.
You will communicate effectively with patients, carers, and colleagues, contributing to collaborative working and continuity of care across services. Accurate documentation and adherence to professional, clinical, and organisational standards will be required at all times.
Flexibility in working practice is essential, including participation in seven‑day services, weekend working, and contribution to the Respiratory on‑call rota as required.
