Smart Buildings Implementation Consultant – Healthcare
We are seeking a Smart Buildings Implementation Consultant to support the deployment and integration of intelligent building systems for a major healthcare programme in the UK.
The role bridges design and delivery, ensuring smart hospital technologies, including IoT, Digital Twins, and intelligent building management systems, are implemented effectively and aligned with clinical operations, security, and patient care objectives.
Key Responsibilities

Oversee the implementation of smart building solutions, ensuring delivery matches design intent and operational needs.
Manage deployment of IoT sensors, intelligent BMS, and asset tracking systems.
Support the rollout of Digital Twin models to monitor real-time performance of hospital facilities.
Ensure interoperability between smart building technologies and hospital ICT infrastructure (cyber, clinical systems, robotics).
Manage vendors and suppliers delivering smart building solutions.
Track programme delivery, report progress, and resolve blockers to keep implementations on track.
Champion operational excellence, ensuring buildings are secure, resilient, and compliant with NHS and government standards.Essential Skills & Experience

Experience implementing smart building technologies (IoT, BMS, Digital Twin).
Proven track record in complex infrastructure or hospital estate projects.
Strong project/delivery management skills, ideally in multivendor environments.
Familiarity with ICT infrastructure (networks, cyber security, system integration).
