We’re recruiting a Senior Embedded Software Engineer for a specialist technology company developing advanced sensing and measurement systems.

This is a senior, hands-on role with significant technical ownership. You’ll work on SoC-FPGA platforms, developing the embedded software that sits between ARM processors, FPGA programmable logic and complex measurement systems.

The Role:

  • Embedded Linux development in C/C++
  • ARM / SoC development
  • Processor-to-FPGA integration
  • AXI, DMA, interrupts and memory-mapped I/O
  • Low-level interfaces and drivers
  • High-speed data acquisition and processing
  • Porting MATLAB/Python algorithms into embedded C/C++
  • Signal processing and hardware/software co-design

What We’re Looking For:

Strong commercial experience with:

  • Embedded Linux, ideally PetaLinux or Yocto
  • C/C++
  • ARM-based embedded systems
  • Low-level hardware/software integration
  • FPGA-connected systems

Experience with Zynq UltraScale+, signal processing, device drivers, Edge AI or industrial/test-and-measurement systems would be particularly valuable.
