Project Engineer – Security Systems

Field-Based | Covering the Midlands & Surrounding Areas
Full-Time | Permanent
Salary: £28,000 – £30,000 DOE + Excellent Benefits

We are proud to be working in partnership with a leading provider of security solutions, currently undergoing significant growth. As part of their expansion, they are seeking an experienced Project Engineer to join their team and support the delivery of high-quality installations and servicing across a range of domestic, commercial, and industrial sites.

This is a field-based role reporting directly to the Operations Director, offering variety, autonomy, and the opportunity to work with cutting-edge security technologies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Attend customer sites in line with scheduled appointments.

  • Install and commission Intruder Alarms, CCTV (IP and analogue), and Access Control systems.

  • Diagnose and resolve system faults, providing clear feedback to clients.

  • Advise on completed works and identify opportunities for additional services.

  • Ensure all work is completed to a high standard and sites are left clean and tidy.

  • Always maintain a professional and customer-focused approach.

    Additional Duties

  • Participate in out-of-hours standby rota.

  • Maintain responsibility for company tools and equipment.

  • Support stock control and inventory management.

  • Stay up to date with industry developments through training and toolbox talks.

  • Contribute to wider team objectives as required.

    Essential experience & Qualifications:

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in the security systems industry.

  • ECS/CSCS card and basic Health & Safety knowledge.

  • Emergency First Aid at Work certification.

  • Familiarity with British Standards for installation and maintenance.

  • Strong working knowledge of Honeywell Galaxy and Texecom systems.

  • Full UK driving licence – travel is a key part of the role.
