Acacia Job Post

Job Title: Office Manager / Project Manager

Location: London, UK (on-site, full-time)

About Acacia Green Technologies:
At Acacia Green Technologies, we are on a mission to revolutionise smart, sustainable building solutions through cutting-edge AI-assisted BMS and integrated hotel systems. We design and manufacture many of our own electronic components, develop custom firmware and software, and partner with industry leaders to drive innovation in the built environment. As we grow, we are looking for a motivated and versatile Office Manager / Project Manager to join our dynamic, fast-paced R&D team based in London.

The Role:
This is not your typical office manager position. We need a highly organised, proactive self-starter who can juggle a variety of responsibilities—from bookkeeping and invoicing (QuickBooks training can be provided), to project management and site coordination, to managing subcontractors and supporting day-to-day operations.

You will be instrumental in keeping our projects on track and helping our team scale. There is ample opportunity for learning, professional growth, and developing new technical and management skills as the company expands.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage bookkeeping tasks including raising invoices and supporting payroll (training available)

  • Coordinate travel and site visits efficiently

  • Manage subcontractors, ensuring timely and quality delivery of installation and support services

  • Assist with project management duties, supporting the delivery of innovative R&D projects

  • Act as a general problem solver, supporting the team wherever needed

  • Grow into the role with opportunities to develop technical skills and familiarity with innovative software and tools

  • Eventually manage outsourced software development projects

    Who You Are:

  • Highly organised with strong attention to detail

  • Proactive and a self-starter who can work independently and take initiative

  • Willing and eager to learn bookkeeping and payroll (QuickBooks knowledge a plus)

  • Experienced in project management, ideally within a fast-paced, innovative R&D or tech environment

  • Comfortable coordinating multiple tasks, managing people, and supporting a dynamic team

  • Hungry to learn, grow, and contribute to something exciting and impactful

  • Able and willing to commute to London and work in person full-time

    What We Offer:

  • A vibrant, fast-growing company working on cutting-edge sustainable tech

  • Opportunities to develop new skills and grow into a broader leadership role

  • Collaborative, inclusive team culture that values innovation and learning

  • Exposure to exciting projects and partnerships with global tech leaders
