Embedded Software Engineer - Weston-Super-Mare
You will take ownership of the design and development of cutting edge capabilities within the defence technology sector. This role allows you to influence the creation of innovative systems from initial concept through to rapid prototyping and equipment trials. You will expand your technical leadership potential while solving complex problems across unique research and development programmes.

What you will need
• Sole British nationality
• Embedded software development experience
• DSP or RF communications exposure
• C or C++ in embedded environments
• Client-facing or consultancy context

What you will be doing
• Develop embedded software for RF and communication systems
• Contribute to research and development of new technologies
• Work across full lifecycle from concept to prototype
• Translate client needs into technical solutions
• Support trials and demonstration of systems

Your profile
• Strong embedded C or C++ development
• Understanding of digital signal processing techniques
• Experience with Linux or low-level systems
• Knowledge of SDR or communications systems
• Ability to produce technical documentation
• Clear communication with technical and non-technical stakeholders
