As an Embedded Crypto Software Developer, you will contribute to the development of highly secure cryptographic libraries and security solutions used across NXP's global product portfolio.
You will:
Design, implement, and optimize cryptographic algorithms, including cutting-edge Post-Quantum Cryptography (PQC) solutions.
Develop high-performance embedded software in C and Assembly.
Participate in the complete development lifecycle—from concept and implementation through testing, code reviews, validation, and release.
Collaborate closely with security architects, innovation teams, hardware engineers, and cryptography specialists.
Develop security technologies that protect against both logical and physical attacks.
Contribute to solutions that safeguard applications across automotive, payment, identification, mobile, industrial, and IoT markets.
We are seeking curious minds who love solving complex technical challenges and are excited about building secure technologies that make a difference.
You bring:
- A Master's or PhD degree in Computer Science, Cryptography, Mathematics, Information Technology, Electronics Engineering, or a related fieldOR a Bachelor's degree with 3–5 years of relevant industry experience
- A strong interest in software development, cybersecurity, and cryptography
- Programming experience in C, C++, or embedded systems development
- A passion for innovation and learning new technologies
- A collaborative mindset and the drive to turn ideas into impactful solutions
Knowledge in any of the following areas is a plus:
- Cryptographic algorithms (AES, RSA, ECC, SHA, DES)
- Post-Quantum Cryptography
- Embedded Linux or RTOS environments
- ARM Cortex-M or RISC-V architectures
- Side Channel Analysis (SCA)
- Fault Injection Attacks (FA)
- Security architecture and secure software design
