Overview

Position: Band 6 Physiotherapist – Acute

Location: Leicester, UK

Salary: £26 per hour

Contract Type: Ongoing, Full-Time (Part-time considered)

Responsibilities
  • Conduct detailed physiotherapy assessments and treatment plans for patients with frailty, musculoskeletal, and neurological conditions within an acute hospital setting.
  • Collaborate with the rapid assessment and discharge therapy team to ensure efficient and effective care delivery.
  • Facilitate patient discharge and support interventions aimed at reducing hospital readmissions.
  • Work full-time hours of 37.5 per week to deliver high-quality patient care.
  • Provide education and advice to patients and families to aid in recovery and management.
Requirements
  • Must be registered with the HCPC with a minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar acute hospital environment.
  • Experience working in the Emergency Department is essential.
  • Being a car driver is preferable for this role to facilitate travel between various sites if needed.
