The Best Connection are recruiting on behalf of our client that specialise in the design and construction of slipform concrete (concrete safety barrier and concrete drainage systems) and extruded asphalt kerbing products (asphalt kerbing systems). Our policy is to exceed customer expectations in terms of quality and safety on every contract we undertake. We provide a working environment for all our employee's which is both safe and secure. Employees are encouraged to develop through innovation and a program of internal and external training.


The role is based at our Head Office at Denaby and is easily commutable from Rotherham, Doncaster, and the South Yorkshire region.


The Role

  • Maintain, service, diagnose and repair Vans, Pickups, etc.
  • Ensure completion of company documentation relating to Vehicles.
  • Use and operate workshop facilities and equipment safely in accordance with company and legislative requirements.
  • Must be able to make decisions and problem solve.
  • Fault Finding
  • Inspections
  • Self-managed - you will order your own parts through the company system.

The successful candidate will have

  • A full UK Driving Licence.
  • Previous experience as a mechanic.
  • Strong mechanical knowledge and understanding of vehicle systems.
  • Proficiency in using power tools and hand tools.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and diagrams.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills.

Benefits

£17 per hour.


We offer weekly pay.


Day shift Monday to Friday.


Hours of work 8am to 4pm.
