OUR OPPORTUNITY:

We are currently seeking a Fleet Mechanic to join our team! Operating out of our Sinnott location the primary responsibility of this position is to perform preventative scheduled maintenance and repairs to all company vehicles and equipment; gas, diesel, propane as well as repairs to private vehicles, tractors and trailers. The individual must be in possession of a current 310T certificate. This position will work an estimated 40 hours/ week, Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 5:00pm.

Starting Rate: $43.50/hr

Reporting to the Garage Manager, the main responsibilities will include:

  • Service and repair company vehicles & equipment
  • Test drive vehicles
  • May be required to change over wheels & tires
  • Keep work area & equipment clean, safe & orderly
  • Follow procedures as related to forms, and fill out reports relating to vehicle maintenance & equipment accurately in an orderly fashion
  • Will be required to perform service calls when required
  • Other duties as assigned

WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TEAM:

  • Understanding of diagnostic equipment and test procedures relating to the transportation industry
  • Ability to work safely and efficiently in a changing environment
  • Physically fit, heavy lifting involved
  • Ability to meet deadlines and prioritize tasks
  • Must be fully licensed with 310T certification
  • Possess a GZ or DZ driver’s license (preferred)
