This is a rare opportunity for a highly respected professional to set technical direction, drive innovation, and influence the future of mechanical engineering across sectors such as water, aviation, defence, energy, education, and urban development. Acting as both a technical authority and trusted advisor, you will lead complex programmes, inspire multidisciplinary teams, and ensure the highest standards of quality and safety throughout every stage of project delivery.


As Technical Director, you will bring vision, expertise, and credibility to client relationships while fostering a culture of technical excellence and continuous improvement. You will guide engineering strategies, support bids and proposals, and shape integrated solutions in collaboration with colleagues in the UK and overseas. The ideal candidate will be a Chartered or Fellow Mechanical Engineer with a track record of technical leadership on major programmes.
