An exciting opportunity has arisen for an HCPC registered Physiotherapist to join our Band 6 development programme in Dundee. This post is part of a team of Specialist Physiotherapists working within the Respiratory and Surgical Pathway, spanning both inpatient and community settings. The team provides a varied service across multiple specialties including Acute Surgical, Critical Care, Medical Respiratory, Pulmonary Rehabilitation, Cystic Fibrosis and Complex Infection, and Outpatient Respiratory Services. Depending on service need and individual development goals, the post may offer the opportunity to rotate across these specialties.

Responsibilities
  • Deliver high quality interventions across the range of clinical areas within the Respiratory and Surgical Pathway.
  • Develop and implement therapeutic programmes and discharge plans to support recovery and continuity of care.
  • Work within a 7-day service model to contribute to patient flow and enhanced outcomes.
  • Supervise and support junior staff, physiotherapy support workers, and students; foster a collaborative and educational environment.
  • Participate in Clinical Governance, service development initiatives, and the integration of evidence-based practice.
  • Undertake respiratory on-call duties following appropriate training.
Qualifications and Experience
  • HCPC registered Physiotherapist.
  • Experience or strong interest in developing skills across respiratory and surgical pathways.
