The Opportunity

TCR North America is growing fast, and we're looking for a skilled and motivated Service Technician/Mechanic – GSE/Diesel to join our DULLES, VA team.

As a Service Technician/Mechanic, you’ll play a vital role in ensuring our customers' equipment and vehicles are always ready for operation. Based at our TCR workshop in Dulles, VA, you’ll be part of a supportive team with clear pathways for career growth and advancement as TCR continues to expand. Your primary focus will be maintaining maximum availability and performance of vehicles and equipment to meet customer needs efficiently.

Responsibilities
  • Troubleshooting: Diagnose, adjust, and repair equipment and vehicles, including electrical, brake, hydraulic, cooling, power steering systems, engines, and other standard electrical components.
  • Maintenance and Repairs: Perform preventative and corrective maintenance and inspections independently, following manufacturer and customer requirements.
  • Compliance & Quality: Ensure adherence to industry standards and regulations, maintaining rigorous quality control and product integrity.
  • Health & Safety: Act responsibly to prevent injuries, adhere to safety regulations, use safety equipment appropriately, report incidents, and promote health and safety initiatives.
Qualifications
  • Valid Driver’s License required; CDL preferred but not required.
  • Tools and Equipment: Must provide personal hand tools; TCR supplies specialized tools and diagnostic equipment.
  • Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic systems, along with proficiency in using mobile devices and relevant applications.
  • Safety and Quality: A solid understanding of essential safety, quality, and operational protocols.
  • Personal Attributes: A growth-oriented mindset, collaborative team spirit, eagerness to learn, strong work ethic, and integrity.
