Senior Physiotherapist Burn & Plastics and Hand Therapy – Stoke Mandeville Hospital, Buckinghamshire NHS Trust. Band 6 role in the Burns & Plastics and Hand Therapy team. The post involves weekend working as part of the therapy weekend service.

Responsibilities
  • Perform assessment and treatment for patients with complex needs as an autonomous practitioner.
  • Provide advice, guidance and information to health and social care professionals, carers and relatives and other non‑professionals.
  • Participate in continuing professional and service development, and contribute to organisational objectives.
  • Undertake all aspects of clinical duties as an autonomous practitioner.
Qualifications and Skills
  • Current registration as a Physiotherapist (Band 6 level).
  • Experience or strong interest in Burns & Plastics and Hand Therapy; collaboration with Occupational Therapy in the hand therapy clinic.
  • Motivated, flexible and hardworking with a commitment to staff development, with support from Band 7 team leads.
