Senior Mechanical Engineer Building Services London Hybrid Leading Multi–Disciplinary Projects Career Progression Competitive Package


Are you an experienced Mechanical Engineer looking to step into a senior role where you can influence design, lead projects, and shape the future of sustainable building services


We re partnering with a respected engineering consultancy known for delivering innovative, technically excellent solutions across commercial, residential, healthcare, education and complex specialist projects. Due to continued growth, they are now seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer to join their dynamic Building Services team in London.


The Role

  • Lead mechanical design on a range of building services projects from concept to completion
  • Produce detailed mechanical designs, calculations and specifications
  • Oversee project delivery, ensuring technical excellence and meeting client expectations
  • Mentor and support junior engineers
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver integrated design solutions
  • Attend client meetings, design workshops, and site visits
  • Drive sustainable design strategies and low–carbon engineering solutions

About You

  • Proven experience in mechanical building services engineering
  • Chartered or working toward Chartership (CEng) with CIBSE/IMechE
  • Strong understanding of mechanical systems (HVAC, chilled water, heating, ventilation, LTHW, etc.)
  • Experience using design tools such as IES, Hevacomp, Revit or similar
  • Excellent communication skills and confidence working directly with clients
  • A proactive, collaborative approach and passion for high–quality engineering
