Excellent opportunity for an experienced Senior Mechanical Engineer to play a key part in the growth of an expanding M&E team within an International Engineering and Design Consultancy.


Location: London

Salary: £40,000 - 60,000 + Package benefits


Job Description:


The Resolute Group is working in partnership with an International Engineering and Design Consultancy to assist with expanding their M&E Team who focus on Data Centre Projects.



Day to Day Responsibilities:


  • Oversee the execution of small-scale projects, including research, development, design, and coordination of engineering project services for mechanical installations, systems, equipment, and facilities.
  • Design and implement controls, instruments, and operating systems for various building engineering services applications.
  • Conduct surveys, tests, and assessments of existing electrical and mechanical installations, providing detailed reports.
  • Specify activities to ensure manufacturing, construction, installation, and testing align with functional specifications and customer needs.
  • Prepare and modify specifications using tools such as Word or Excel.
  • Ensure that engineering calculations and drawings adhere to industry standards and legal requirements.


Qualifications required:


  • Bachelor degree in Mechanical Engineering or similar


Skills and knowledge:


  • Proficient in the English language.
  • Previous professional experience working on similar projects within the UK.
  • Strong understanding of key health and safety issues and legislation.
  • Proficiency in MS Office suite, including Excel, and other relevant software applications.
  • Ability to utilize IT-based calculation and spreadsheet software effectively.
