Senior Mechanical Building Services Design Engineer required to join a Bradford building services design team that has a reputation for engineering excellence. The role involves working with other senior engineers to run schemes and develop less experienced personnel. The schemes include hotel new-build, refurbishments and extensions, high quality high-rise residential schemes, and novel projects such as Wimbledon and the Olympia exhibition centre.

Responsibilities
  • Work with other senior engineers to run schemes and mentor less experienced personnel.
  • Contribute to the design of mechanical building services to UK regulations.
  • Engage with a variety of projects including hotel new-builds, refurbishments/extensions, high-rise residential developments, and high-profile, novel schemes.
Qualifications
  • Mechanical building services background.
  • Demonstrable experience of mechanical building services focused design to UK regs with at least five years of experience.
Package and Location

The package includes an enhanced pension, 25 days leave allowance (increasing with service), and bonuses based on company and individual achievement. A salary sacrifice flexible benefits scheme is also being considered to supplement the offering. The current offices are on the outskirts of Bradford with easy motorway access to Halifax, Huddersfield, Wakefield and Leeds, with a possible move towards Pudsey for better connectivity and a more modern working environment.
