This pivotal role supports Ontic’s continued growth and success by driving strategic sourcing excellence, strengthening supplier partnerships, and ensuring supply chain resilience across our global operations.About the RoleWe’re looking for a highly experienced Senior Commodity Manager to join our Global Supply Chain team. In this critical leadership position, you’ll drive strategic sourcing, supplier management, and stakeholder alignment across multiple sites and geographies. You’ll play a pivotal role in shaping long-term sourcing strategies that deliver measurable value achieving the best total cost, quality, and performance outcomes for our global business.As a change agent and strategic leader, you’ll influence and implement global supply chain strategies, manage key supplier relationships, and lead a high-performing sourcing team to deliver excellence across all facets of procurement and supply management.Key Responsibilities* Develop and execute commodity strategies that include sourcing plans, market analysis, supplier capability assessments, and risk management.* Lead multi-site sourcing and negotiations to secure best-in-class agreements for assigned commodities and services.* Build and lead a global sourcing team, coaching them to achieve critical sourcing KPIs and business goals.* Analyse global supply markets, cost drivers, and economic trends to identify opportunities and risks.* Drive supplier performance and innovation, ensuring alignment with company objectives and compliance with regulatory and sustainability standards.* Partner with Product Line and PMO teams to support sourcing transitions and program objectives.* Oversee global supplier selection, evaluation, and performance management frameworks.* Travel globally to evaluate supplier capabilities, strengthen relationships, and support Ontic operations (up to 20%).About You:You’re a seasoned supply chain professional with a strategic mindset, strong leadership acumen, and global perspective. You thrive in complex, matrixed environments and excel at building relationships, leading transformation, and delivering tangible results.Qualifications and Experience Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or related field (MBA preferred). 15 years of progressive experience in global sourcing, procurement, or supply chain management, with at least 7 years in senior leadership roles. Strong background in operations, project management, finance, and strategic planning for business and product category development.
